BMIT Technologies and The Malta Chamber renew Bronze Collaboration Agreement

The Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry and BMIT Technologies have renewed their collaboration agreement to help members strengthen their digital capabilities and business resilience.

Through the agreement, Malta Chamber members will have access to BMIT’s expertise in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, business continuity and cloud services, including the foundations needed for secure and effective AI adoption.

As businesses become more reliant on digital services, protecting data and maintaining operations through disruption are increasingly important business priorities. Regulatory frameworks such as NIS2 and DORA reinforce this focus for organisations within their scope, with implications for how they manage technology suppliers.

Commenting on the renewed agreement, President of The Malta Chamber, William Spiteri Bailey, said:

“Digital transformation is no longer an option for businesses; it is an essential component of remaining competitive, productive and resilient. Through our renewed collaboration with BMIT, we are bringing together industry expertise and The Malta Chamber’s policy and business network to develop meaningful discussions around the digital priorities that matter most to businesses. We look forward to working together to help Maltese enterprises better understand and harness the opportunities presented by technology.”

BMIT Technologies CEO Christian Sammut said:

“Business leaders need confidence that the technology they rely on can support growth, protect their information and keep their operations running. Building that confidence takes sound infrastructure, effective security and a clear plan for responding to disruption. Our renewed collaboration with The Malta Chamber gives us the opportunity to help members translate these priorities into practical decisions, drawing on BMIT’s experience to strengthen their resilience and make informed choices about technologies such as cloud and AI.”

The renewed agreement further strengthens the longstanding relationship between The Malta Chamber and BMIT and reflects both organisations’ commitment to supporting a forward-looking and digitally enabled business community.
