EnergyEfficiency4SMEs Training Session

Description

The EE4SMEs project is aimed at supporting hotels and manufacturing companies to cut costs, obtain the full potential benefit from renewables as well as to apply for funding.

This is the first of a two-part series of webinars aimed at increasing the competitiveness of your company.

Are you ready to take the next step toward a more sustainable and cost-effective business?

Speakers will guide you through the latest in photovoltaic (PV) technologies, energy audits, and energy management strategies. With businesses often facing complex decisions around renewable energy investments, this series is designed to provide the clarity and insight needed to make informed, impactful choices. Don’t miss the opportunity to streamline your sustainability efforts and make lasting changes. EE4SMEs is composed of a consortium of over 20 partners across Europe, and is represented by the Energy & Water Agency (EWA) and Malta Business Bureau (MBB) locally.

Agenda

PV Technologies

Sometimes it may not be a straight-forward decision for business to invest in renewable energy. What technologies are available? Where may I install PV Panels? What permits are required? How does the feed-in tariff work? Is it beneficial to install power battery storage? What is the return on investment? These questions and other will be addressed by two expert speakers, with the aim at facilitating our businesses taking the right decisions.

Best Practice

An enterprise has been invited to share its experience about the benefits at investing in various energy saving technologies and taking other steps to minimise waste and conserve energy.

Financial Aid

Several businesses have a desire to invest in energy & water technologies but lack the necessary capital or expertise to make such investment. Some businesses are unaware of the various funding opportunities, and others experience difficulty to tap such funding. Two speakers from Malta Enterprise will explain two Funding Schemes, and the help that is available to apply for such funding.

Energy Management

Certifications & standards are a good way to save energy in a structured and informed manner. An official from the Malta Competition & Consumer Affairs Authority will explain the requirements and the benefits of one such standard, aimed at maintaining an energy management system.
