With 30 years of experience, he specializes in digital transformation, delivering measurable outcomes. He excels in strategic partnerships, navigating complex projects, and empowering organizations with cutting-edge solutions to accelerate growth and innovation.

Juan Avilés, IBM watsonx Business Development Manager, IBM
Juan is an IT professional with more than 30 years of experience in the industry. From the very beginning he has been working with new technologies. From his position as EMEA Industry Architects at IBM in 2011, Juan started to be involved in business development on AI, with Watson, across different industry sectors. In late 2024, Juan retired from IBM and started a new role at TD SYNNEX helping IBM Business Partners to generate business opportunities with IBM watsonx.

Denis Vella, Head Enterprise Architecture, PTL
Denis has over thirty years of IT experience, specialising in implementation and consultancy across diverse technical domains. His expertise includes Technical Support, Systems and Network Design, and Enterprise Architecture. He has also served as a Data Protection Officer and Information Security Manager, making him a trusted advisor in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity

Karel Zahra, Managing Director, Enterprise MRO
Karel Zahra is an Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Service Management Consultant with 20 years experience developing maintenance process and systems in different geographies and industries. Karel has a vast experience in IBM applications including IBM MAS which together with a background of IT and Accounting he uses to empower the customer to bring the most out of their assets and facilities together with their supporting functions.

Carolina García, Artificial Intelligence & Data Leader for Malta, IBM
Carolina García, is an expert in Data, ML & AI solutions at IBM. She has been helping public and private companies to develop and evolve their data platforms in this area, on their path to digital transformation for 15 years. During this time, he has also collaborated in the development of IBM’s channel business in this area.

Juan de Zurirarrain, Infrastructure Sales, IBM
Juan de Zuriarrain is an engineer passionate about hardware and the industry’s latest technology. Most of his professional career has been developed at IBM, where he has spent the last 10 years in different roles covering the EMEA region. Since 2025, he is responsible for the IBM Power Servers sales in Malta among other regions.

Jesús Torres, Technical Sales Leader IBM Cloud and Power, IBM
Jesús is a Computer Engineer and Economist. He has been working for IBM since 2014, holding positions in different areas: services, technical sales and sales. He currently leads the IBM Cloud and Power technical teams for Spain Portugal Greece and Israel. His responsibility is to develop the business, ensure the correct technical approaches and the smooth adoption of IBM technology from customers and partners.

María Aldavero, IT Automation Sales Leader, IBM
María Aldavero Delso, with 18 years at IBM, is an expert in FinOps and Observability in the Spain, Portugal, Greece and Israel market. As a Subject Matter Expert in IT Automation & FinOps solutions, she advises organizations on cost optimization and technological performance while also collaborating with integrators and service providers to evolve their FinOps offerings for clients.

Michael Azzopardi is a Partner at EY, where he leads the technology consulting practice in Malta. With extensive expertise in IT strategy, enterprise architecture, and software engineering management, Michael specializes in driving business transformation through technology.
