Navigating Development and Growth in a Constrained Island

Malta stands at a crossroads. This conference, being organised by The Malta Chamber in collaboration with AIS Environment, brings together business leaders, experts, policymakers, and government authorities to examine Malta’s current trajectory and to identify strategies that support economic growth while safeguarding environmental and social well-being. The programme opens with a data-driven assessment of current conditions, presented through expert insights, statistical analysis, and powerful visualisations, followed by forward-looking projections and a roadmap aligned with Vision 2050. Core themes include land use, mobility and congestion, infrastructure capacity, air and noise quality, and population health.

Interactive panel discussions, Q&A sessions, and comparative case studies from other island states will explore the drivers behind these trends and showcase transferable solutions. The event offers a unique platform for businesses and policymakers to align strategies, anticipate future risks, and shape a shared vision for sustainable growth in Malta’s unique island context.

Non members are only allowed a maximum of 1 free entrance to The Malta Chamber events per year. Non members will be charged a fee of 70Eur + VAT at entrance in the case of registrations that go over and above that quota. The Malta Chamber reserves the right to reject registrations of non members.
