This training provides a practical overview of financial sanctions and their impact on day-to-day operations. It will outline the legal obligations arising from EU and UN sanctions regimes as implemented in Malta, explain the roles and responsibilities of businesses and senior management, and highlight key compliance risks, including exposure through customers, suppliers, payments, and beneficial ownership structures.
