FULLY BOOKED – Malta’s Work Permit Framework: Processes, Obligations & Pathways

This seminar will provide an overview of Malta’s work permit framework, outlining the main routes available to third-country nationals seeking employment in Malta. It will address the Single Permit and EU Blue Card mechanisms, highlighting the key procedural requirements that distinguish them. The session will also cover the general provisions governing Employment Licences issued by Jobsplus, with attention to employer obligations and compliance considerations. The seminar will additionally include an overview of family reunification avenues available to eligible workers.

The event will include a panel discussion featuring the following representatives from Malta’s main regulatory bodies:

Dr Marthese Portelli, CEO, The Malta Chamber

The panel will provide insights into current practices and offer participants the opportunity to raise questions relating to the topics discussed.
